Helena graduated from The University of Exeter in 2012 with a First Class Honours Degree in  Exercise and Sports Science before going on to gain a Masters Degree in pre-registration Physiotherapy. 

 

She works as has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in neurology but now specialises in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, working in the NHS and at ChiPhysio.

Helena is trained in clinical Pilates, she currently teaches our Wednesday morning class online and uses Pilates-inspired exercises to help her patients. She is passionate about helping her patients recover from injury or surgery and prides herself on a holistic / whole-person approach to treatment. She enjoys using a combination of hands-on Physiotherapy techniques and specific exercise to help patients feel better quickly and reach their individual goals.

She has excellent experience within pre-op and post-op orthopaedic care and physiotherapy following discharge from hospital.

As a keen runner and recreational triathlete and Pilates instructor, Helena has a good mix of skills and passion for helping other people to stay active and perform their best in their chosen sports.
