About Chichester Physiotherapy
Chichester Physiotherapy is the longest established Physiotherapy Clinic in Chichester. Founded over 30 years ago in association with a local GP practice, the clinic has since changed hands and location, but still maintains close links with the local community including local GPs, Consultants, businesses and sports clubs. At Chichester Physiotherapy we aim to provide a high level of care at a price that you can afford and effect a recovery in the shortest time possible.
The clinic is owned by Melanie de Lacy, Chartered Physiotherapist with 20 years experience in the treatment of musculo -skeletal conditions and sports Injuries. Melanie graduated from Cardiff in 1990 and obtained a Grad dip in Sports Physiotherapy in 2002. She has worked for many years in Sport , including England Netball as well as local sports clubs. With an interest in spinal and pelvic floor rehabilitation she completed a Grad cert in continence in 2006 that has widened her interest into pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence.
Melanie is lucky to work with three other physiotherapists who share her interests and approaches to treatment. All our physiotherapists use an evidence based approach to treatment which means that our treatments are supported by the current research evidence base and are therefore up to date. The emphasis is on manual treatment techniques to restore function and corrective exercise to help you manage your condition yourself.
Chichester Physiotherapy is situated in our newly renovated, ground floor consulting rooms with onsite parking, in central Chichester.
Real Time Ultrasonography
In association with 4D Baby Scanning, we can provide you with a moving picture of your abdominal and Pelvic Floor muscles in real time. This will help you to re train the stability muscles and improve back and pelvic pain.
Chichester Physiotherapy Clinic has recently relocated to modern ground floor premises in the City Business Centre in central Chichester, where we have onsite patient parking. The clinic is a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations.
